Embedding environmental justice and health equity into state climate change strategies is crucial for ensuring that climate policies are both effective and equitable. As climate change exacerbates environmental challenges like natural disasters and rising temperatures, its impacts often disproportionately affect marginalized communities. Incorporating environmental justice and health equity enhances the effectiveness of climate strategies by targeting interventions where they are most needed, empowering affected communities, and promoting a more inclusive and resilient response to climate challenges.
